Already caught the mantrailing bug? This progression workshop is perfect for those who have completed an introductory or beginner-level mantrailing course with us and want to take their skills to the next level!
Your dog already knows how to find people – now it’s time to build distance, complexity, and confidence in your trailing team.
What you will learn...
Our Mantrailing Progression Workshop is 3 hours of practical training, designed to expand your understanding of mantrailing developing on what you have learnt previously.
Each dog-handler team works one at a time, with all trails tailored to suit your individual goals and progress. Observation between runs is encouraged and hugely beneficial!
What to bring...
ALL-WEATHER CLOTHES (INCLUDING WATERPROOFS!)
A WELL-FITTING HARNESS
LONG LINE (RECOMMENDED LENGTH 8–10 METRES)
HIGH VALUE TREATS (NO DRY KIBBLE!) e.g. fish cake, liver cake, cheese, liver paste, favourite wet food – bring plenty!
WATER & BOWL FOR YOUR DOG
DOG'S FAVOURITE TOY (if applicable)
SCENT ARTICLE (e.g. glove, scarf, or bandana sealed in a sandwich bag)
DOGS MUST BE ABLE TO WAIT SAFELY IN THE CAR BETWEEN RUNS
