⚽ A brand-new team scent detection event for pet dogs and their handlers.

Welcome to the very first UK Sniffer Dogs World Cup — a fun, fast-paced scent detection competition where dogs and handlers will compete across a series of football-inspired search challenges to earn points for their country team.

This is not a traditional trial or competiton.
The UK Sniffer Dogs World Cup has been designed to bring together:

• teamwork
• strategy
• excitement
• spectator fun
• and, most importantly, dogs having an amazing time using their noses.

On arrival, handlers and dogs will be randomly assigned to one of four World Cup nations. Throughout the event, every point earned contributes towards their team’s overall score as they battle their way towards the World Cup Final.

⚽ The Five Rounds

ROUND ONE — BEAT THE WALL

Progressive knockout searches where the difficulty increases heat by heat. Teams must successfully complete each round to progress.

ROUND TWO — WHAT’S THE SCORE?

Positive and negative hide challenge. Dogs must locate the correct hides to reveal the final scoreline before the timer runs out.

ROUND THREE — BAG A PENALTY

A fast-paced 90-second search where handlers attempt to “bag” as many correct hides as possible for their country.

ROUND FOUR — AROUND THE WORLD

A themed search challenge combining scent detection, speed, and teamwork under pressure.

ROUND FIVE — WORLD CUP FINAL: SUDDEN DEATH

The final a select few dogs from each teams go head-to-head in an exciting retrieve showdown to determine who will lift the UK Sniffer Dogs World Cup trophy.

🐶 Suitable For

This event is designed for pet dogs already training in UK Sniffer Dogs scent detection ( ANY LEVEL) 

Dogs should:

• be comfortable working around other dogs and people
• have an indication on a trained target scent
• enjoy searching and retrieving rewards or articles

🎟 Entry Fee: £50 + VAT per dog
⏰ Duration: 9AM START  (Approximately 2–3hours)

Spaces will be limited to help keep the event relaxed, enjoyable, and fair for all teams.
